It was a bouquet of melodious music on Sunday September 13, 2009 at the International Conference Center, Airport Road, Mississauga,ON from 12 noon to about 4pm. The theme of the praise, worship and celebration was Dancing your way to the Throne. It was part of the making of Champions Conference 2009.
In attendance and performance was Pastor Richard Brown, a Jamaican and psalmist; Alvin Slaugther, a contemporary gospel singer and Perfected Praise of the House of Praise choir. It was a rich experience. Alvin slaughter made a call for healing and pronounced blessing on some people singled out by the spirit of God.
pastor Wale Akinsiku preached on why we were dancing our way to the throne. Using mark 14 v3-9, he explained that dancing gets you God's undivided attention and singles one out for favour. The benefits of getting the attention of God are

3. Fruitfulness
4. Favour 1 Kings 10 v9-13
5. Unprecendented financial prosperity 2 Chronicles 20
The action required is (a) give heartfelt praise Psalm 149 v3, 108 v3 and (b) give sacrificial offering 2 Samuel 6 v13,17. I offered $100 as a pledge.
Perfected Praise led songs from East to West Africa. The crowd went wild at the singing of Igwe, my Lord. The service ended with the song.
