Creating Your World

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear Heb 11:3 (KJV).

There are several worlds - spiritual, natural, business, career and financial - which have power to influence an individual. With and using the word of God, we can create our own world according to the passage above. Creating our own world is possible because we are gods Ps 82 v6. However, we can only create with the word of God. Why? God created the whole world with his word has recorded in Genesis 1. For example, Peter walked on water because God as Jesus spoke the word to him. Our relationship with the word of God determines whether our world will be created. No word of God, no world.

The word of God brings light. It is the light that exposes us to God and allows his will to be done. For example, the woman who lost a coin had to light a lamp first before she could find the coin and then her joy was full. Conversely, the church in Rev 2 was told that its lampstand (source of light) would be taken if it did not return to God. We need light to create our world. God created light on the first day so that he could create other things.

To create our world, we need to see the word of God. Hearing the word of God only will not get us to our desired end. We need to visualize, imagine, dream and act on the word of God e.g. Rev 1 v12. Stewardship or attendance in church is not a substitute for the word of God. You can serve and not partake in the blessing e.g. prodigal son's brother.

Observation:
1. The two ushers who stand beside the stage entrance when a pastor or guest minister is preaching were absent.
2. The preacher used a variety of tones but the dominant one was was too loud and turned people off.
3. There was problem distinguishing between word and world.
4. There was repeated reference to the pastor.

The Purpose of this Blog

This blog is a summary of messages/sermons/homily/exhortation delivered by men of God. Initial postings will be from messages delivered in the House of Praise (a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG) Church. The postings are my own views and represent my understanding and interpretation of the message delivered. I will start by updating the blog on a weekly basis with a gradually increase as time progresses.
