Value of Balanced Knowledge

Having knowledge is good. However the knowledge has to be a mix of physical and spiritual knowledge to ensure success in this world.

As recorded in Matthew 7 v24-27, but the wise and foolish man built houses. The base on which the house was built was different- rock and sand. A foolish man can be a spiritual person who does not have skills or a knowledgeable person who has no spirituality (God). The two types of foolish men will end up in destruction at ONE attack of the evil ones. However, the wise man builds on his knowledge but depends on God for his sustenance and protection.

The wise man has two sides to his personality. He is a Christian and also an achiever in his field of knowledge. Knowledge of God alone will not ensure success neither will skills and knowledge alone. Balancing the knowledge of God and a skill or knowledge will ensure STEPping UP in life.

Revelation; God can never be explained, He can only reveal himself. Parts of my life should be explainable(e.g. due to skills, connections, etc) but some parts should not be explainable because God lives in me.

Moses had Egyptian education (Acts 7 v22) and used it to lead the people out of Egypt in terms of logistics, arrangement, etc. However, he still needed the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire at night to move to the promised land(Exodus 18 v11).

The third step to building your capacity is Bold Actions. This will be presented at another time.
